We're here to guide you through your Voyage!

Questions

What is considered a deployment?

A Deployment is the backbone of Voyage. It’s basically a mini, isolated server with your code deployed on it. When a user creates a Pull Request, Voyage builds and deploys the code and creates a unique, isolated deployment.

What is an active deployment?

An active deployment is a deployment that is currently live and deployed. A single project/repo can contain multiple deployments. An active deployment counts toward the total number of deployments included in your subscription plan. Deployments are automatically spun down (deactivated) when your pull request is closed.

What is a project?

A project is a connected repository.

What integrations are available?

Currently, we offer integrations with Slack and Jira. We are actively working on additional integrations -- please feel free to contact us to let us know what integrations are most important to you

How much time will this save me?

On average developers who use Voyage will save an average of 3-4 hours a week.

My app relies on 2 repos. Is this possible?

Yes! In fact you may even deploy 3 repos if you choose.

I'm not familiar with Docker. Is there an easier way?

Yes! In fact we support built in presets for popular frameworks like CRA, Angular, Laravel etc. We will also help you configure your project if you'd like. Just email us at contact@voyageapp.io

Can I still use Voyage if you haven’t built the integration I want?

Yes! We also offer webhooks to build your own integrations. Contact us to learn more.

What is a provider?

A provider is a repository provider like BitBucket or Github. We currently support BitBucket and Github providers. We are also working on GitLab and other providers. You may connect multiple providers to that same workspace.

What is a workspace?

A workspace is where you and your team work together. Within a workspace, you are able to invite users, connect providers, add projects, and create deployments. Your subscription plan is tied to your workspace.

Can I have multiple workspaces?

Yes you can! You can be the administrator for multiple spaces and be invited as a collaborator to multiple workspaces.

Can someone on my team view a deployment without a Github/Bitbucket account?

Absolutely. Voyage is designed to help technicals and non-technicals collaborate more efficiently, so you don’t need a Github, Bitbucket, or Voyage account to view the URL created by a Voyage deployment.

Can anyone view my deployment links?

Yes, anyone can view the links you send. However, you may also password protect your deployments! To do this, just go to your project settings, toggle password protected deployments, and enter a password.

How does the free trial work?

Simply create an account with your email address or via Github. NO CREDIT CARD REQUIRED! Your free trial will have a limited number of deployments but otherwise, you are free to use Voyage like any other user. The free trial lasts 14 days, afterwards, you’ll be prompted to set sail with us.

How are payments processed?

We use Stripe to process payments. We will never handle your credit card directly nor will anyone from our team ask for your credit card information. Read HERE to learn more about how Stripe protects your information.

Can anyone see my code?

No. Never. Not at all. Every deployment is 100% isolated from other deployments meaning no one can access your information. As developers, we value the privacy of our own code so we extended that same privacy to you. Our team will never see your application codebase.

Can I unsubscribe at any time?

Yes. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing cycle.

Do you offer an annual plan discount?

Yes! If you subscribe to our annual subscription, you will save 10%
